Wheel touch-up tips?

Without re-living the gory details I curbed the right side wheels pretty good today.

I've searched and read multiple threads but would appreciate any tips. Planning to use my dremel to knock down the rough edges based on other posts/threads. Thoughts?

Also, haven't seen anywhere if there is a factory touch-up paint available for the C5 Z wheels. My car is 01 but these wheels are off an 04 and look to be slightly darker? Suggestions?

It's primarily a track car so I'm not looking for perfection or I'd take it to a shop. Just want to make it relatively presentable.

Dupli Color NG GM 435 Light Gray Met. got it at Kragen. I also heard of Argent Silver from Eastwood paints. I haven't used the Dupli Color touch up yet but from the bottle look close to it. I got these color from when I posted the same question about rim touch up, hope this helps.

You could also try paintscratch.com
That's where I got mine...pretty close.

The color code is WA9789 (Light Gray Metallic).

Ive used files to shape and then progress to smoother sandpaper to get the desired result. The Z06 wheels have a lip so it was easy to paint the outer edge. Hope that helps

Wheel color

I just bought a 01 Z06 and have owned several other years in the past. Is there some color differences in certain year wheels? I would swear these are darker grey than others and I know they are the factory originals to the car. Is there more than one color for the Z wheels?
