I 'am about to order my predator tuner but heard some negative things about it () Would you consider it as a healthy upgrade to you car? Has anybody had any issues with it? What gains can I expect from it? How will it work in combination with cold air intake?
Thank you
You should be happy with it but theres no substitue for a personalized dyno tune. Just got my predator the other day. Install the perf tune, turned off the CAGS and set my fans to come on sooner http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...today-and.html
From: Marlton. Increasing performance one speeding ticket at a time! NJ

There is nothing "negative" about the predator. It does exactly what it is advertised to. Take that with a grain of salt, as I wouldn't believe all of the website's claims, but it will generally give your car a little boost.
It's not nearly as customizable as other solutions, but it's easy to use and you can't really do anything wrong.
I found it limiting after getting into more serious mods (like cam installs, multiple cars, etc) so stepped up to HPTuners.
