Default Put the Fork Down and Drive !

Wife and I took the AE out on a beautiful day in the MEM area. Temps were in the low 80's and a good breeze made even standing still a joy. Just yesterday I clayed and carnuba'd my ride, so we were looking good for sure.

Took the targa off to better enjoy the cutouts, grabbed a Coke and off we went. First stop was a State Park on the Mississippi River (Meeman-Shelby), lots of Easter Egg hunting and quite a few people out and about. Drove the entire park, saw the "flood stage" river and then headed into MEM to a couple of City parks that are usually fun. Cruised through two and even took the "slow" road through town back to our northern suburbian neighborhood.

Now all that to tell you that I did not see even ONE Vette the entire drive. Three hours of fun for us and I couldn't even wave. What's up with that? I know it is Easter Sunday, but really? Put the fork down and let's go for a ride. Find all those eggs and mess up your hair. The weather has broken and it is time live and drive.

Well, I enjoyed myself anyway.

Wave on !!!!

haha, I totally agree. I was washing and waxing the Vette today and I opened the door and yelled for my wife to come look at something. I told her to get in the passenger seat, she had no shoes. And we left and just drove random places for 30 minutes with the targa top off

Would have been a good day to get mine out, but we did have a whole house full of family here for Easter dinner. Just didn't get the chance to escape for a cruise.

Beautiful day here in the Carolinas as well - sunshine and 80's. Had a great Easter Sunday, church in the morning, lunch with family.

Tried to take a ride with the targa off but the pollen was terrible. Had to put the top back on - my EB is yellow inside and out!

Oh well, the pollen will be gone soon.

Still a great Easter Sunday...

Seems you had a great Vette day and seems the whole Vette community is out of hibernation, glad I drive a Vette everyday

We went on a little cruise this afternoon around north Oklahoma County and southern Logan County and we didn't see any other Vettes either.

Saturday was the day for me... Got a bunch of up from our fellow brothers! As well as the numerous head turners on the roads. Had a great convo with a gentleman on a Harley who wanted nothing more than to trade rides at that point!

Again I realize that NOTHING comes close to this community! Everyone respects what they got, gives credit where credit is due, and last but not least gives the constructive criticism that some of us need

The Wife and I went to Tulsa today to see the kids and grandkids. Saw 3 C5's(2 Torch Red and 1 Navy Blue Vert) and 1 Black C4.
While it was nice, I was surprised I didn't see more, as great as the weather was.
Oh well, 4 is definitely better than zip.

I wasn't home because I was gone for the week; I had to do some traveling all day long yesterday for work. I did see a beautifull nassau blue like colored C6Z in Brawley, California while I was working there over the weekend, this Saturday to be more specific. Today I took my baby out, and there was a beautifull silver C4, and I also saw a red vert C5, and we did the wave thingie. we had great weather here in Liberal Kansas today.

We got back seven hours later

Out of NY, Up CT into VT, epic weather, epic ride.

I have to tell you, I think we saw maybe three vettes the whole day ? Lotta bikes out, no vettes, was it leave your vette at home day and I didnt get the memo?

I got to go for a drive on Easter Sunday... even if it was just to work and back. Got about 200 miles total since taking her out of storage last week.

Then I wake up this morning and was greeted with a few inches of SNOW.

I drove the truck today.

I was one of those people that didn't get it out to drive. =(

I had it out of the garage and was starting my detail and getting prep done for all the mods I will be working on later this week.

I would have loved to been out driving around... I think I made a bad choice, should have just drove it around dirty and enjoyed the day.
