For the record, the car was so shiny... I didn't even notice the trash cans.

Nothing special. Washed, then used some scratch X and rubbing compound on a couple areas. Then some polishing compound and finally a coat of nano wax for the top coat. I'm going to start zaino again but it is usually like a 3 day process, so I'll do the Z first, then trade to the Vert.

You can get pretty good results with 3 stage meguiars, but the car has certainly seen some heavy scratching from age. Call it a 10 foot show car. I'm going to get one of the orbitals recommended on here and try to work some of the scratching out. Clear is REALLY hard on these cars, although who could tell from how easy it seems to be to initially scratch them.

Really low expectations for a car with 80k miles and that gets driven daily, so I'm happy with it.

AND I was greeted this morning by rain. Not heavy rain, just enough to completely dirty my car again
