Thank you all in advance, this is my first time here. Can anyone tell me the brand(model#) of a bra for the nose of a C5. I tried the GM one, and disliked the installation method. I'm seeking something very simple to install and remove. Id prefer a light weight one that can easily roll, or fold up behind the seat when not in use. I'm not fond of velcro holding a bra in place. Thank you again.
Looks like you just joined up. Usually it is normal to do a search first for a question first. And usually it is as a new member a good thing to introduce yourself first...
If you are looking for a cheap bra, then I will suggest that you simply go to Advance auto or whatever auto store that you have in your area and check out their bra's.

Thanks for your reply, but I'm not seeking a cheap bra, just one that installs without velcro. I tried the GM bra and didn't like the installation method. I know there are numerous brands, types available. Im asking advice from the forum.

There is a mesh bra that installs pretty easily and folds up into a small package - price is about $150 and last time I checked, the Corvette Museum sold them as well as a few other vendors - like C5Creations.
Don't know what your issue was with the GM bra though - I have found it to be easy to install/remove once you have the 7 snaps in place and it costs about $80.

I used that one as well for 4 years or so, did work very well, easy on easy off and like mentioned, used snaps in wheel well and under fascia center area...no flutter or velcro. I now have the Speed Lingerie for Highway trips

Have a 3M invisible/clear bra professionally installed by a good company like Autobahn and forget it. They came to my house and installed it. You can't see it, it protects and you don't have to mess with anything after it's done. I got the nose, headlights and mirrors done for $375.

What don't you like about the GM Bra installation?
If you use all stainless steel snaps replacing the two rubber mounted fasteners, and left the snaps in place, it takes like 3 minutes to install the bra.
I thought that the official "GM" bra has been manufactured by different companies since the model run. There was an earlier post about an ill-fitting GM bra that was made in Mexico. On the same post, another owner had a problem with a GM bra that made in Thailand. Does anyone know who the "official GM Bra" manafacturer is these days?
I was about to pull the trigger on the GM Bra WCC sold that had the C5 logo on top and had a second section for the hood, however although my catalog showed it, it was not available.
I like Speed Lingerie, however I have a bunch of other mods I'd like to buy before I drop the $$$ for one of those. I only want to use mine for occassional use.
I purchased mine about a year ago from the Chevy dealer. It was made in China, snaps were not stainless, and fit was very poor. Overall an extremely crummy bra. I have no idea who actually made it, it came in a GM box, instructions in a dozen languages

i have sent my gm bra through hell and back countless times. these things are very durable. i have read of users on this forum using their gm bra on the track at speeds of 120+ mph with no flapping. installation and removal is super easy (about 4 minutes for install, and about 2 for removal). i even use mine in the rain on the highway. wash it with mild soap, and its good for another go!
