Air pump valve
Check engine light glowed Saturday morning. Get back home and run self diagnosis and come up with "air sys fail bank 2". After testing, I decided the one-way valve is clogged for pass side exhaust. It couldn't be the driver's side, which is easily accessible. The pass side is impossible to even see, never mind get out. It is bolted to a bracket on back of head behind the intake manifoild. The intake manifold must be removed to change one-way valve. A $14. part took 5 hours to install.
I guess it could have been worse.....I could have had to "PAY" someone else to do it.

Wow you are energetic! That is a common problem and really sucks. If you do a search, there is much on this including a "quick fix". Ultimately you need to replace the valve anyway, but a squirt or two of WD 40 in the system frees up the problem diaphram. I am going to remove the system soon.
