Anyone using a Vortex Rammer CAI?

Just curious if anyone has any experience using one of these or maybe pictures of one installed.

This was one of my first mods. From the first drive you could feel the difference in throttle response. The only draw back is it's a true bottom breather, you can not drive through standing water that could be sucked into the intake, you also have to cut the fan shroud. I have the clear one so you can see the filter.

Like said above on performance. I've had mine for 8 years now, the clear shroud is cracked but the intake functions well

Have had mine installed since mid last summer. I have had no problems with it and love the look as I show. It makes for a cleaner look with the hood up.

Very cool. I like the clear so you can see the filter without taking the filter out which I hear is a pain.

I have run one for four years. No real issues other than crawling under a bit when it is time to remove and clean the filter.

My Vette had one on it when I bought it-no complaints except reinstalling the filter after cleaning can be a challenge.
I did a little mod on mine to hold the filter element in place while I slip the MAF into it,saves alot of time and cussing....

I see your box is cracked, would you have any interest in a black box? It's in great condition.

I've had mine almost 10 years and am 100% pleased with it. No desire whatsoever to change. I find removal of the filter to clean and re-install a rather simple procedure.
