DIC code problem

Default DIC code problem
The "service vehicle soon" message pops up on the DIC. The check engine light is not on. I have cleared out all the old codes. And "C1281H" still pops up. The code ends in "H" so its a history code and not occuring, right? I'm not sure what my next step would be or how i can fix the service vehicle soon message.
Please help.

I don't know what this means but I looked up the code in my code list for 2000 vettes, here tis:

C1281, C1283, or C1286 VSES Sensors Uncorrected

I don't know what a VSES Senor is.

C1281 Steering Sensor Uncorrlated Malfunction.
but it has as "H" at end of it. (history code)
