Default Help me identify this wire

It's on the center and sits on the inside where in your right knee area. On the outside, it's a piece of velcro.

I've tried tracing it to see where it goes but it goes underneath the temperature control housing area and I can't see where it goes after that.

Looks like it's glued on. I'm guessing it's an aftermarket piece. I'm very tempted to just cut it to see what happens.

agreed aftermarket...looks like an upside down satellite radio antennae to me. Not sure why it would be in that location though.

Looks like the in-hull part of my boat's depthfinder!! The transducer.

Definitely after market stuff though and you don't have whatever stuck to the velcro. It's funny the previous owner didn't take it with.

Pull it off without cutting the wires and see if there is anything written on it.
