C5 Corvette Bullet Exhaust

The classic muscle car sound of the GHL Bullets has long been considered the quintessential C5 Corvette exhaust system. Only the highest quality mandrel bent 304 stainless steel is used to manufacture all of our exhaust systems. The Bullets feature quad 4" tips that make your exhaust look as good as it sounds. The Corvette Bullet exhaust utilizes GHL's innovative Thru-Flow design which allows your Corvette breath, yet produces no drone or cabin resonance, making it the perfect system for either a boulevard cruise or a weekend at the track.

GHL is the only way to go for a Vette, it's a shame that I don't see more of them, there are 54 members in my Vette club and I am the only one with a GHL. All the Corsa guys kick themselves in the #*% after they hear my car and I rip past them on our cruises!

It's funny you should say that, as I am in the process of swapping my GHL back to a Corsa!

After all the talk of GHL, I thought I'd give it a try. So I purchased a GHL bullet system. Well, it is quieter at idle (don't hear the pop pop of the cam as much). It is a bit louder at WOT and has more of the muscle car sound, but it comes with the price of drone at two spots in the rpm range. This is around 80-90mph on the highway, so not really a concern there, but I hit it a lot in city driving, which drives me nuts.

The Corsa makes my car sound meaner at idle, has absolutely no drone anywhere, and sounds exotic at high rpms.

This is on a 447cu engine with a very large cam, long tubes and x-pipe, so maybe this is why my results are different than others on the forum. I have not found one person around here that prefers my car with the GHL (I too am the only one around with a GHL, so I would have rather kept it to be unique I think I am the only one on the forum that has experienced this.

Bought mine in Novemeber last year and I don't regret that I puchased them. Now I have a new cold air intake and they have even a deeper throater sound. I love them.

Currently looking for an exhaust for the C5, definitely will have to give these consideration. Just looking for something that is not going to drive me bonkers at 70-75mph.

I have one of the most heavily modded cars on CF, both in performance & cosmetics..

Put it this way..
I only use the highest of the top end products on my car.
Nothing less..

I have GHL on my car....

Do you think for a sec I would put up with ANY kind of drone, or motor boat putt putt sound from my exhaust.... No way....

That should tell you something..

Just had my GHLs installed yesterday. Best sound I've heard. Makes my corvette sound like a corvette should.
