have an issue with my rear tires hitting the brake duct tubes in the rear. I have 18x9.5 in front and 19.10x5 in rear running 305"s i had 315's on the back took out brake tubes and right rear wheel would rub on inside of fender weel on sharp turns, just that tire? so i went to 305's in back with a custom 1/4 billet spacer that is lug centric and it still rubs a little so i know if i put my tubes back on they will rub, what do i do. Some guys told me at west coast corvette to heat the tubes with a heat gun and smash them down?? any ideas the wheels are detroit wheels ZR1 eddition. Are the bushings wore on the passenger side maybe? im lowering the rear an inch on monday. Does it need shocks in rear? i know there is an expert out there somewere....help
I don't see how your tires rub with a 1/4" spacer. I have 335's (in 18", not 19" like you) and with the duct removed I have no issues. Are you sure it really is rubbing and have identified the exact spot inside the wheel well where this is happening? The reason I ask is there are hundreds on here that run 19's with 305's and have no known issues. You are the first I have heard of. But now that I think about it, you may have bought the wrong offset. Never heard of Detroit Wheels either.
I can see a rub pattern on the inside of the wheel well, i dont know why it flexes that much, the wheels are made for the c-5 is it the suspension?\

I wouldn't worry about it. I've got 18" x 11" rears and have some slight marks at the top of the wheel well. The car is lowered and it probably just happens ocassionally when you hit a hard enough bump, it's not constantly rubbing all the time. It doesn't bother me at all. And btw, I still have the duct tubes on.
If i turn in a parking lot or do sharp slow turns i hear it rub or sound of it rubbing. I can put my hand behind the tire and wheel well must be about 1 to 1 1/2 inch of clearance and it only does it on the rear passenger side. here is the link to the wheels im running 19x 305 30's in the rear yokohama advant sprt

You might want to check all your rear suspension connecting points and make sure all the bolts are there, tight and not broken. Sounds to me that you have some body sway in relation to the rear axles/springs, sway bars and when you turn one way the body makes contact. Might even be a blown shock that is allowing a lot more compression when you turn that direction.
Take a straight edge the height of your tires and put them against each tire and see where it hits up under the fender on each side. I'm guessing your rear cradle is skewed to the driver side so your driver side tire is outward more (closer to the fender) than on the passenger side. You will need to loosen the cradle bolts, pry the cradle back to center and then get another alignment done.
If that is not it, I would check your shocks, ball joints and wheel bearings...
