Default Window adjustment help

I have a 2003 Z06. I got the door panel of already because i need to adjust the drivers window. The reason im doning this is the window need to go a little further back. How do you adjust the window forward and back(not tip in) Need the window to go back so it sits on the weatherstrip better. I already loosened the 2 bolts on the window clamps and tried to tap the window back, but it did not work. Any help would be great tks

I've never heard of any other procedure except tipping the window.

But I would look at 2 other options:

#1: Make sure the weatherseal doesn't need to be replaced.

#2: Check your door's alignment.

Major Window Adjustment

CAUTION : Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the drivers door. When operated, the Express Down feature allows the door window to drop very quickly, which could cause personal injury.

1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Reconnect the window switch to the harness.
3. Raise the door window.
4. Remove the window clamp sight access plugs.Loosen the window
clamps.
5. Close the door.
6. With the aid of an assistant standing outside of the vehicle,
position the window to the door opening.
7. From the inside of the vehicle tighten the window clamps.
8. Open the door and install the window clamp sight access
plugs.Install the door trim panel.
9. Perform minor height and minor tip-in adjustments as necessary.

Minor Window Adjustment

Use this procedure when window height is off less than 3 mm (0.12 in) .
1. Open the door and remove the small front access plug and the rear
access plug from the underside of the door.
2. Adjust the front and the rear window regulator jack screws equally.
3. Close the door and check the window alignment.
4. Open the door and install the access plugs.
