Default Service Traction Control

Yes, the dreaded EBCM DIC messages.

I've used the search function, and it was informative.
However the specific DTC I get is C1232 (left front wheel
speed sensor open or shorted).

I've checked the sensor right at the wheel (per the
service manual). It does generate >100 mv when spun.
Resistance measurements also within spec. I've also
checked wiring continuity right up to the EBCM input
connector (measured resistance between pins 25 &
11 on the connector - it matched what I recorded at
the output of the sensor right at the wheel).

Now I read somewhere a suggestion of swapping the
wheel speed sensor inputs (ie. left to right and vice
versa to determine if the problem follows the sensor).

But reading the service manual(s) and looking at the
wiring looms. I cannot determine how to do that. What
am I missing ? Is there some specific GM diagnostic
jumper with a J part number to use ?

I'm trying to rule out as much as I can before I proceed
to take apart the EBCM and open it up for examination
(ie. component level troubleshooting).

I also have another code - related only in the sense it's
on the left side as well. HVAC B0361 (left temp control
actuator). Wondering if perhaps it's related in the sense
that maybe a rodent bit into a wiring harness... hmm?

The car is a "garage queen", has not been used in almost
a year ('04, w/3200 miles - yeah, yeah, i know.. "drive it!")

Any ideas (re: wheel sensor check out procedures) ?

(all codes were cleared, the only 2 that came back were
the 2 mentioned above).

Try swapping the wires. They go from the hub to a connector laying on the frame behind the front suspension. They are about 2-3 ft. long. Right and left are the same.

While they are out....try pulling the connectors apart, cleaning them and prying the contacts so they make better connections to their other halfs still on the car. This is more involved than you think. The obvious way to pry the connector is not the way to do it. You'll understand if you take the connector apart.
Coat with dielectric grease and plug them back in to their opposite sides. And go for a ride. Hope this helps.
