Idiot customer came into the parts store I work at and wanted to buy a new set of McGard locking nuts with key because he lost his key. I asked him what he planned to do with the new set. He said he would use the key from the new set to get his locks off in a tone that said I was the idiot. I explained to him that McGard has 75 different puzzle patterns and that the likelihood that the key was the same as his was extremely remote. He just couldn't grasp the concept no matter how I tired to explain it. I said he'd likely have to buy 200 sets before he got one with the same key. He ended up telling me I had no idea what I was talking about and bought the new set.
I lost the pool on how soon he'd be back for a refund. Between 5 parts guys the pot was $25.

Lock lugs are designed only to make the purchaser feel safe, which makes the seller a lot of money. A mature thief doesn't even blink when removing them...and your average teenage thief takes them off just as quick as if they were regular lugs.
