Need HELP ASAP/ Rear wheel studs
For the life of me I can't find a DIY with pics on how to change rear wheel studs using the short cut method of drilling the backing plate . I searched the forum but have not found any clear instructions on where to drill and so forth. If anyone has pics and instructions from A to B it would be much appreciated!!!

Ya, found it but I was looking for the drill out method with instructions and pics. Just want to make sure I don't drill in an area where I'm not suppose to. Worse comes to worse I'll use the "proper" method and follow the instructions listed to completely remove the hub.
Hi STALION;
Use the search feature again & check the all the articles on that page. I clicked on one that had a step by step procedure with pictures. I don't remember who the author was, but it was before Bill Dearborn's write up.

Hey Rob, thanks for chiming in. I did the change last night using the "drill backing plate" method. Worked ok, but a little more involved then I thought.
Hi There;
Glad to hear you have the problem fixed. A little more involved isn't that always the case? It certainly was as an aircraft technician.
