A few months ago I had some LG Pro Headers installed and now my Check Engine light keeps coming on. The diagnostic reading says that it's a slow response on Bank 2 Sensor 1 (O2 Sensor?). I've replaced the sensor 4 times already and still keep getting the light. Sometimes I can go a month or two with no light and sometimes it comes on right away.
Any advice on why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I have the same problem; I've posted about it last fall and this spring...when I get time I will have it looked at by the shop that did the work...it's a 140 mile round trip.
Either get a tune and disable the codes or just reset when they code is set. Tuning packages like EFI Live and HP Tuners will tune those out if you know someone who owns one of them and is willing to help you.
After screening tons of threads because I too once had a similar problem, it can be a number of things.
Are the fronts in the back and the backs in the front? (o2 Sensors)
Could be burned wiring.
Could need a tune.
The front o2s should run driver side to driver side and passenger side to passenger side.
The rears should cross.
It sounds like either a problem with the wiring on the passenger side o2 harness or you need a tune. Check the wiring and if thats not the problem then I would say tune.
Doesn't have to be. I have Melrose headers with R/T high flow cats and X pipe followed with B&B Bullets. The Melrose setup uses all four O2's in their original configuration. I've never had any codes or problems. I did have the rear O2's tuned out when I got a tune a week after the install.

Never threw a code on my FLP's at all and all sensors and codes are still enabled. I meant that it's generally a possibility with LT's. My wife's coupe that I installed AR headers over two years ago just started thowing O2 sensor codes for the first time last week. I am going to disable the rear sensors and codes to prevent it going forward. You never now if/when sensor codes will hit with LT's and why they do - or don't as in my coupe.
ehhhh, you really shouldn't be having any problems with the LG Pros. I had LG's on my car for a year and never had problems. Did you use the correct sensor configurations and extensions? If I remember correctly they suggest using 4 rear 02 sensors in the exhaust due to their nature to react quicker and being down stream further it will prevent this code from coming on.
I would check with LG, or look in your instructions if ya still got 'em.
A little trick that you may not know is...
Press and hold the Option button on the DIC, while holding press the Fuel button 10 times. Your DIC will go into Diag. mode where you can chose manual diagnostics and select PCM and the press reset to clear the codes.

Thanks for the advice...I will try to do the manual reset next time
I probably should have mentioned this in the beginning but I had the car tuned when the headers were installed. I got all new sensors. We figured the problem had to be in the wiring harness so I even had that replaced. When I get the codes cleared, they just keep coming back eventually.
Yesterday I got a new sensor installed and today the light comes on. My tech figured it had to be the wiring harness again so we replaced that again and so far so good.
For the one post asking if I'm running cats, the answer is no....maybe that's the problem, what do you guys think?
I Installed ARH two years ago on my wife's car. I had the same problem. Its no big deal. You have to get a tune and they will take care of the problem. Every time the light came on I would just
Clear them out then I would be good for awhile then it would come back on and I would have to clear it again. No biggy. Then I got a tune a year later and they took care of the problem. I'm in the
Process of putting arh on my 04 and its going to do the same thing. Ill get a tune at the Corvette Carlisle show this year. Just get a tune and you will be happy.

No cats will throw a catalyst efficiency code. Nothing to do with bank 1 or 2 sensor 1.
Slow to respond means the fluctuation is slower than spec, or duty cycle. Usually a bad sensor or excessive resistance in the signal.
