Not sure if that is the brand he has, but check with forum member Patches - he runs a very nice setup on his car.

QTP website , but don't know if that is the best price. Don't know if they are sold anywhere else. $325 for cut outs $425 with y-pipes

http://quicktimeperformance.com/

Check out McCords $239 + shipping

MPP looks pretty nice. How's the warranty? Can't seem to find it. When I purchase the cutouts, Im assuming that Im going to have to purchase some Turn Downs, is that right? Thanks.

I like them but all I could find is the oval shape. Is there any others you know of?

The ones you want are the "DMH low profile" cutouts from marylandspeed.com. $399 shipped buy worth every penny.

I think you will find some issues with either the McCord or QTP's over time. Ask me (and others) how I/we know.

So for the DMH set up, turn downs won't be needed? I've seen this set up on a vette and they were almost facing eachother. There's no heat issues with them facing eachother?

Diydur- Are those photos of the QTP?

I had a motor burnout on my QTPs so I bought there replacement parts and fixed them fairly quick. Other than that, I enjoy my QTPs.

Just installed the DMH's on my car yesterday. Hope they last . It was... difficult to say the least to get in contact with Dave to check on my order status, but it was worth the wait.

I had QTP's on my Saleen and I went through two motors and leaky seats on both within two years... and this was with light usage. They were great when they worked, don't get me wrong, but eventually I just gave up and capped em off. Hopefully I just got a bad set though cuz QTP seems pretty popular as well.

i have had the QTP on my car for about 7 yrs now... i have replaced 6 motors in total. I use them ALL the time, so maybe thats why they kept burning out.
now my switch LED went out but it still functions. other then that i love the function of them.

i would def go with DMH, they have the round 3" version, you just need to call the guy and ask for em'. The only downfall i REALLY hate on my QTP is they take 8 seconds to fully open, where as the DMH takes 2 seconds. my buddy has the DMH and they are amazing! seen them in person.

Lastly, you DEFINITLY need some turndowns!!! if you put the "y-pipe" in and no turn downs the exhast shoots straight into your rear cradel, ie, leaf spring. there is a possiblitly of over time melting the spring. not to mention, it rasies the temps of the rear diff as well. the turn downs will also help with the sound, give it a more deeper tone since the sound rebounds off ground.

Here are a couple vids:
the first/second vid is my car, 427ci with the turn downs and QTPS
Third vid is my buddies C5Z with a LS7 442ci, DMH, no turn downs.
