Car won't start
'06, red top Optima battery, 3.5 yrs old. Lights, windows, etc. work. Battery charger connected and indicator says battery is charged. but when I try to start I get the dreaded "Click, Click." Bad battery, starter, or what? Car started fine, pulled it out of the garage and washed it. An hour later tried to start and no go.

Measure the voltage across the battery posts with no key in the ignition using a digital voltmeter. What does it read? Check the battery cable to make sure they are cleaqn bright and tight.
Suggest taking the battery out of the car and to your favorite parts place for a load test. Most do that at no charge. Wouldn't surprise me if the battery is bad
