My C5 is not my DD, but does get driven to work from time to time. I am currently running Michelin PS2 and am very happy with all around performance, ride, and handling on wet roads. IMHO, they are as good as my previous BFG KD tires in the dry and much better in the wet.
I have had every tire possible on C5's. I definately would not run runflats. I just put Toyo T1R's on my 03 Z06, and they seem very nice so far for ride and minimal noise. They are great looking as well.
I'm putting on b.f goodrich KDW2 on the vette next week. I had them on my 300zx and liked them. I think the michelin ps2s(IMHO) are a better tire but they are over priced, so i'm going with the KDW2s.
Currently second set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S ZPs (Plus), had about 14K on OEM Eagle F1 EMTs trying to decide on the next coming set if it'll be Pilot Sport PS2 ZPs or going back to Eagle F1 EMTs.
I've run Kumho MX's. Very good tire for the money. The car handled neutral and rode very well.
BFG KDW 2's - also a very good tire but some people find them noisy as the wear. I loved the way the steered.
PS2's which I expected more from mostly based on the price and reputation. NO traction until 4th gear.
I think I'm going to try the new Kumho "XS" for my next set. 180 wear rating but I don't put that many miles on the car although I drive it whenever I can. I'm severely traction challenged so I'm looking for something softer that will go around corners - FAST.
