I had the ride height of my Z06 lowered, and don't like it. Hits too much stuff. I want to raise it up 1/4" in the front and rear. Anyone have any idea how many turns of the adjuster in the front and how many threads (or turns of the nut) in the rear will result in a 1/4" difference?
If you are experiencing a change in ride stiffness you are most likely bottoming the shocks in the back. Not sure how low you had it, but if it was all the way down in the back on stock bolts, that's too much. Try raising the back about 3 turns and that should get you enough clearance to be off of the bump stops.
Previous owner lowered mine (and I believe cut the bushings though he said he didn't) and it rides too rough for my taste. I scrape on everything; it's annoying.
