Front Leaf Spring
OK, Oil change today and I saw that I have got a crack in my front leaf spring. Got a couple of questions. Note: my Z is a daily driver.
1) Replacement options...OEM or any aftermarket.
2) Anyone know who actually made the spring to start with or who makes them now? I am sure GM out-sourced that.
3) Can't seem to find anthing but Z51 Springs online...what gives.
Thanks for the help!

You can find good used ones in the parts for sale section with guys who installed coil overs...or you could go with your own set of coil overs.

call your GM parts guy. I'm sure you don't want to put on a used one. It would be nice to know if they have them and how much they are.

Anyone know which Hyperco spring, street or track, is closest to the OEM for the Z06?

Those things retail for like $600ea
If you do front and rear, and then you'll want some decent shocks like Bilstein sports for $300...and now you're in coil over territory...I'm just sayin.
