C5's are older and the depreciation curve is getting to the point where it is less steep than the C6. Natural aging process of anything that has a traditional depreciation curve.

I really think the styling difference is helping prop up the C5 market. There are a lot of people, including myself, that do not like the C6.
It's the headlights I tell ya....the headlights! Even though I could have purchased a C6 (and it is a great, great car) I just like the headlight switch to open those babies up!
I've noticed this as well. You can get a used C6 with low mileage for slightly more than a C5 with low mileage. I purchased my C5 last year and this is the case for me.

The C6 in New Jersey is a poor choice because of the need to display the front license plate. But besides that the C6 is a better vette under the skin then the C5.
In my opinion l like the C5 better and kids for some reason also tend to like the C5 better.
But the C8 is awesome and l will buy that sucker for sure.
I agree. The C5's smooth flow styling is going to be a future high demand classic. I have scene DD C6's for 22k now with around 50k miles.
You can find C6's for 24k all day long now. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

Seems to be the case for the base coupe C6, but take a look at the Z06 prices for a C6.
I think the C6 styling is just less attractive then a C5 until you get to the Z. Let's face it there is an eye candy factor to vette ownership. The C6Z looks like an absolute beast next to the coupe.

former WS6 T/A owner here too - love the hidden headlights
