fellas i have a 99 frc, im just about done doing a resto on her. so i wanted to upgrade to all leds externial and interial. done. i was looking at my sunvisors which dont have lights, bought 2 that do , fished around and found the connector. wow gm just tucked it up. next the gf complained that she cant see in the trunk at night so again ,got 2 factory trunk lights, put leds in and again looked for the connector and lowen behold IT WAS THERE. SO IM THINKING GM USED THE SAME HARNESS for all models. whats next i found the fog light connector time to fogs. just felt i had the share this with everyone

Installing the fog lamps is not a big deal.

The wiring from the dash to the fuse box beside battery is the same on all cars. Your good to to there. The wiring from the fuse box to the fog lamps is NOT there. You also have to get a new dual button (trunk/fogs) for the dash since Z06's only have the trunk release button.

I have a write up on my web page about the install I did.

Thanks for sharing. Where in the trunk area is the trunk light connector?

Gotta be careful, not all vettes are created equal.

Pull out the trunk switch and verify that you have a purple wire running into the connector. It should be towards the right, if not you will not be able to install fogs using the factory switch as you're missing the circuit wiring.

Ran into this on Zenak's FRC a few weeks back and had to make up my own harness.
