Reading the recent thread on one gentlemans bad experience with a speedshop (hes from Tinley Park Ill) , I was wondering if there are any Illinois residents here on the forum who have had good experiences with a speedshop here. Any recommendations and why and any to avoid and why? Just thought I would ask before I flush my cash into a bad one. Thanks.
Darryl, my best friend runs a business named "Eurotoys" in rural Elgin. He works on everything from classic musclecars to late-model Ferraris and everything in between. He sponsors (and services) a car club that includes many late model Vettes, and a sweet LS7-powered '66 Chevelle. He is a one-man shop, and you won't find anyone who will take better care of your car. His attention to detail is insane, and his labor rates match or beat most of the larger shops in Chicagoland.
