Default C5 Hood adjustment

The hood on my C5 is not flush in the front, is there a fix for that. Hopefully a simple fix.

there are 2 adjustment screws with rubber stoppers on top to adjust the height of the front of the hood.

Thanks I will try that. I've seen those bolts with the rubber tops but I was afraid that If I raised them to high I might break the hood, because the lowest point of the hood is about 8" from those bolts. I will try it this evening with help and do it real slow.

I'd agree it is a slow, trial and error process. Just be patient and make small adjustments each time.

If you by chance have an after market over sized air bridge, that could be causing the problem...

I think those are anti rattle bump stops, you can only adjust the hood up/down with shims on the hinges I believe. I think the bar that the top of the front fascia attaches to also adjusts up/down to make the fascia fit the hood better but you have to remove the front fascia to get to it.

Yea the vararam jacks the hood up a tad since it hits on the underside no big deal the hood can be tweaked with the hinges and the rubber stop screws. I gotta do mine here soon

ive had similar problems after my cam install. i took the hood off to the the work. Now the front of the hood sits higher then the bumper... I think the Haltech killer bee 2 is the problem.

Should i take off the intake and see if it lines up?
