Default how long should i wait to get an allignment?

i plan on lowering the car .75" in front, and .5" in rear. the difference is to keep the stock rake angle after i got my new wheels/tires.

I plan on doing this after i install c6z51 sway bars w/ poly bushings and metal end links, 04 z06 shocks, and a z06 rear spring. i know it takes a while for the suspension to settle after installing a new spring and lowering.

my question is how long will it take for the suspension to fully settle so i can get an allignment? is it a matter of time or miles driven? should the miles be driven around town taking a lot of turns, and accelerating/braking, or would it do just as well to drive it on the highway? just trying to figure out exactly what approach i need to take here. thanks for the help.

I waited 200 miles to make sure all was settled, probably could have done it at 100 and all would have been fine

I did approx. 100 miles of varied driving and braking before I got mine done. Give the suspension a good workout, not just drive in a straight line for your chosen distance. Minor adjustments from side to side/front to rear were needed to get everything exactly as I wanted it. I adjusted the drivers side slightly to compensate for driver weight while driving rather than static unloaded height.

It did need an alignment after that. Mine is lowered similar to yours on oem bolts and uncut bushings. Now 1,000 later and my tires are showing no typical wear of a Z06.

wondering why just the rear Z06 spring and not both ends-- won't that make it oversteer some???

i have an FRC, meaning it comes with the z51 suspension. the front z51 spring is the same as the front z06 spring. the rears differ.
