Default Upgraded the wheelie-things

I installed a set of A&A Frame Savers when I first bought my C5 in '01. Since then, other versions have come out but I never thought to upgrade until Chip at CCA came out with his "FattDaddy" and "FattMomma" front frame wheels. I ordered a set for my and the wife's C5 as well. The single wheel versions just weren't cutting it all the time. On certain slopes and dips, the unprotected side of the frame was still scraping so I bit the bullet and upgraded. Hopefully, these'll do the job.

A&A Frame Savers

FattMommas

Looking good, Patches. Those should really help prevent the scrapes.

Luckily, they're not visible with the car on the ground - otherwise, they wouldn't be on there.

Any excuse to see your car, Patches, is a good one. Awesome install.

(Random question: Your garage doesn't look a whole lot bigger than mine. How did you fit the lift in it? My door opener hangs way down and so do the runners. Did you have to relocate yours to fit the lift? Just curious.)

Great looking car. I painted the head of the bolts to include the washers & nuts on my "Ma Ma's. These are a must for lowered cars.

Beautiful vette, very nicely done.

I've thought about those, and I really like the dual wheels concept.
May have to go for it.

Nice installation Ed. How about dual A&A's since you now have 2 spare sets of them? They have additional strength & support from their own frames. Just need a longer bolt.

I've got the same issue. If I had to do it over, I'd have chosen the FattMommas.

What forced my hand on this one is the wife has a new dentist whose parking lot has a the horrible combination of an ugly, extreme dip and a significantly steep slope at its entrance so I had to do something. Mrs. Patches complained she was scrapin the the front frame bars getting in and out of the lot, despite having FattDaddies on her C5. Figured I do 'em both at the same time.

I wonder how those would work on mine. I have the ECS Novi and of course a modified rail. I know that the car is lower now with the supercharger installed and I could use something.
