Default XSPower 2.5 Cat Back

Just wanted to let everyone know about my experience with this exhaust. It was shipped to me very quickly and well protected/packaged. The tubes, tips and mufflers all look great and so do the welds. The installation was a snap. I backed my car on to my ramps and used a chain cutter to cut my stock tubes so that I could remove the stock setup without a lift or raising the rear of the car real high. I cut them on the straight section before the bend going into the muffler. Everything came right off easily. Also my original gaskets between the H-pipe and the muffler tubes were in good enough shape to be re used. When trying to install the new tubes over the trans-axle I found that I needed to unbolt the sway bar at the brackets and fold it down out of the way and also I had to jack the car up another six or eight inches to achieve enough room and then they slid right into place. I hand tightened to the H-pipe on both sides and slid the mufflers into place and snugged down the brackets. Went back and tightened everything up and next came the moment of truth... the sound! On my totally stock car the these mufflers are very quiet at idle and light throttle settings with a nice little growl. When you get in to the throttle is when things start to liven up and at WOT they sound great! I got a chance for a short ride on the highway and they did not seem to drone at 70-80 mph (A4 coupe with 2:73 rear gear). All in all I would say that I am very satisfied!!

Thanks, Jon!

(now I think I need to complete the package and get the long tube headers...lol!)

Nice review and sounds like a good system. Any pics of it installed on the car?
