Went to the strip this past weekend. wasn't happy with results, only managed multiple 11.00x@122, but i normally run 10.6-10.7's@133. But anyways, one of my good buds snapped a few pics. thought you guys might want to see how neat the pics came out.
After the burnout and staging, notice how high chin spoiler off ground
the launch, notice now how high...
Down the strip at about 1/8 mi marker, nose still up there...
My competition at the end of the day, EVOMS 2010 997 turbo with the 650 package... it was fast!

Looking good,,,and FAST!!! Just keep things in perspective,,,,your "Not so good runs" are 2 seconds and 12 mph BETTER than my BEST pass!! It HAS to be fun woopen one of those fancy pants Porsches Always cool seeing a good looking vet doing a legit burn out,,and hauling azz on the track!!!
Thank you all for the comments, I do appreciate them! My bud takes amazing pics so I had to post them!
Couple of stats on that particular pass:
11.005@123
1.69 60'
Porsche ran a 10.75@138 with a 1.72 60'
no idea on DA but the air was quite humid and temps were about 75*.
That Porsche makes 64x rwhp so I don't feel too bad loosing to it when I make a WhOLE 120rwhp less. plus, not many ALL motor setups run in the 10's and can be daily driven. Lol. But that's the best times that car has clicked off. My car typically runs 10.6 - 10.7 at 131 - 133 on this track. Normal 60' are 1.41 - 1.55. I think it was just an "off" day for me and my head wasn't in the game. But it was in fun so no worries.
Also, regarding the wrap on the rear, I normally use tape bc it's cheap and simple. But thank u for the link, I will check it out tonight.
