Well my ownership experience with my GRRR8 98 ended tonight when i signed the title over to my best friend of 47 years.
Times are tough and even though i owned it outright i had to make the cut. I'm downsizing and the extra insurance for the luxury of a car i only drive for 4 months a year was the way i went. I'm also selling my Infiniti Q45. The good news is i'm gonna enjoy the LS1 in a 2004 GTO that i pick up on fri night. Itonly has 11k on the clock instead of the 117k thats on my daily driving Q. Its not a vette but it has room for the family and i can still lay down some rubber with the 370 rwhp with the mods its coming with. I hope since i'm keeping the vette in the family i can reclaim it someday when things get better. I will still be lurking around here though, and will still be attending corvettes at carlisle every year cause im still a vette guy at heart. So i want to take this opportunity to thank the forum for all the help i've gotten and i hope i can be a part of it again someday.

Sorry you let her go! Struggling to keep mine! Don't let the CF door hit you in the a$$,,,,stick around,,,I know I will if I lose mine! Just won't post much,,,if it happens!
Good luck and take care of you and yours. The GTO is a nice alternative and you kept it in the family. Plus, you can still hit the C5 performance section from time to time for more LS1 tricks!
