Default Horn does not work?

2000 A4 Vert, horn does not work? Any help is appreciated!

Default Can also be a bad ground or open circuit or bad horn

Then post #39 on page 2 for replacement membrane.
Had same problem. Was fuse in the engine compartment PLUS one of my horns was OPEN. Checked fuses under passanger dash. WRONG fuse box.

Check to make sure your horns are secure.My horns wouldn't blow so I crawled under the car and found the nuts holding the horns had backed off and were loose ,I tightened both horns and they worked again.Also check the connections to make sure they are making a good connection at the horns .It's a possibility you could also have a bad horn relay which could be located in the steering wheel or in the fuse panel under the hood or in the second fuse panel located inside the car under the passenger dash.
