Hi all I did a couple of mods this week I, painted and installed the pfadt chassis bar. The fit is amazing but a pain to install. I also put in the mgw shifter what a difference absolutely the best mod I have done for driveability so far.
Last but not least I picked up some interior bits from Redline....... they make an amazing product for the price the fit and the stitching and material is top notch. If anyone is considering upgrading their leather boots you cant go wrong with them. Heres a few pics
Thanks for all of the comments Next step is im going to get the dash wrapped along with the radio bezel.I just got some matching red leather for the lower door panels so I am gonna wrap those next week.
Ill Probably sneak some afr205s and a g5x1e cam in along the way would go bigger but... that aspect of california sucks.
This forum has been a great help and there are some absolutely amazing cars on here.
Did cage bolt right in or was it a bitch getting in !!!Nice mods!!!
Its easier to bolt pistons in than bolt in this cage lol. If I had to do it again I absolutely would however it would be much faster to pull the tanks and weld it in. The rivnuts are a pain to keep aligned as you get more of them in. But all in all not too hard just a pain.
I would say if you have fab experience this is about a 8 hr install to fit it. But 1 thing make sure to fit it before you paint it as it is going to take a good bit of nicks and scratches getting it fitted. Im glad I fitted it and pulled it out and sprayed it then reinstalled. It is a great mod and the people at Pfadt did their homework on fitting this thing tight. I can barely notice it in my rearview mirror which is great.
Gorgeous man! Am I allowed to use that word when talking about a vette? Seems to feminine. How about BADASS DUDE!
Absolutely you are allowed to use that word lol too funy...... the funny thing is this car still has more factory parts on it than most of the women out here hows that for feminine hahaha.
Any pics of how you trimmed out the B pillar behind the seats?
Now I just need to find someone that has put one in a coupe to see if the top still fits in back.
