You will have to go to a dealer with your reg and id and I believe they can cut you one, Not cheap.

yeah but thats just the fob it takes like 30 seconds to programm one ive done that. So good news just called the dealer and set up a appointment for a new key to be cut for 45 dollars. lots cheaper than i thought it would be.

Not sure if this will help or not, but I had to have a key made from the VIN for my Honda. This key also has the radio chip/transmitter inside it.

It cost $49

You will have to have your ID as well as either the title or registration for the vehicle before they'll do it.

yeah he told me that. Since i have the key fob still i will be able to get these out of my car. I was thinking around 200-300 dollars because my good friend has a mustang lost both his keys and the dealer charged him 375 dollars for a new key.

The key blank will be the most expensive part of the equation.

It'll take them all of about 5 minutes to cut a new key using the VIN number.

I can't imagine a C5 key blank being over $75, even with the Corvette tax included. You'll still have to pay for the 5 minutes of labor to cut the key, but it shouldn't be THAT much.

The cost depends on the dealer...
Should be under $50 for just the key
the y need the VIN and will want proof you are the legal owner of the car
