A subwoofer enclosure for the center storage space, or one for the two corners. I'm looking to do one of the two, if I use the corner space then it will most likely protrude out of the hole, but if I use the center it will be completely hidden. So, lose a side compartment and upper storage space, or lose the entire center space and keep the flush trunk and side compartments....
BTW I'm going to do this custom instead of purchase one by internet.
Go with the center. I put a high power (600 watt) 10 in my center and fit the amp in there. Looks awesome.
That was a plan I had, but I was goign to mount the sub vertically and hidden in a bandpass case, so I wouldn't have to worry about puncturing the cone.
I relocated my cd changer to the driver side compartment (along with a bag of tools), 10" sub in the center compartment, and my amp in the passenger side compartment. I couldn't ask for a better set up. Everything is completely hidden and it has the perfect amount of bump. AND I got everything (including the adaptor for the stock head unit, wires, etc.) for under $200. I spent a day of my spring break a couple years ago installing everything and I couldn't be happier.
There really is no need for a capacitor at all, if your system is big enough to cause light dimming, do the big3 upgrade and be done with it. Other then for bling a capacitor is basically worthless
Yes helps a bunch bfore when tha bass hit interior and headlights dimmed bad an my volt gauge in dash dropped low but now it stays a little over 12v nothing dims now an when im in the garage with the radio on it doesnt kill my battery,So I thinks it worth it!!
