Do all C5 models have rpm limiters stock?

BUT, it will ONLY save you on upshifts. If you accidentally DOWNSHIFT you can still mechanically overrev your engine and DO GREAT DAMAGE.

not only C5, but every manufactured car should have a rev limiter, not to be confused with a speed limter

They do have rev-limiters, and I have hit mine occassionally. No harm, no foul. It is just a small block Chevy and it will keep on going!

Had mine set a tad higher than stock,,,bounced off the limiter a few times since,,,didn't seem to hurt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or help! still learning the 1/4 mile stuff!

Yes, they have rev limiters - good thing as I hit it a couple of times in my '00 (by mistake of course
).
