I need the instructions for takin the cluster off again,I shoulda used more glue on the rings,so far only the 2 smaller ones on the right fell off, aaarrrgh
this happened to me a few years after I installed them. I believe it was going from the severe cold to the hot summer months that caused them to fall off. good luck
Here is the instruction set I used. Step-by-step with lots of great pictures. There are even some good suggestions about using seperate bags for different area's screws, nuts and bolts.
I have taken ming off several times (for several reasons) and you should be able to get it off or on in about 15 minutes. Add to that the time to clean and re-attatch, you are in and out in less than an hour with no issues at all.

That is a major part of why rings come off years-after installation.
The thick CA glue does a good initial job of adhering everything... but cures rock-hard. There's no "give" left to handle expansion & contraction via temperature swings.
This is worse on the speedo & tack rings. I had to redo one of mine - and I used clear RTV silicone this time. It adheres great, and does allow the ring to move a little without fear of breaking the bond. The drawback is that you'd need to let the cluster sit overnight before reinstallation; as the RTV doesn't cure as quickly as CA glue.
