Default Headlight adjustment

Drove the vett for the first time at night . The head lights seem to be pointing down and to the left. Can I adjust the direction of the lights. If so. Can someone explane how on the vett. Its a 2001.

Check first that the lamps are installed correctly. One tab of the three could be out and cause the misalignment. I recently changed lamps in ours to SilverStar Ultras and had one that way and it was WAY out of alignment. In fact, it was missing a tab causing the issue. Replaced the lamp and it's all good now.

Make sure that before you try to turn any of the adjusting screws that you first soak them down with PB Blaster and then allow some time for it to do its work. This might be the difference between adjusting the headlights and repairing the headlights.

Just got done rebuilding mine with brass gears, etc ... and soaking the adjusters in PB Blaster and grease. Took the PB blaster over-night to work them free.

My gears were fine in the motors however the rubber cushions were tore all up.

Thank goodness I have the 1999 motor style and it just took (3) screws on the side plates to remove and install vs. gluing them back on.
