Let me know if you don't get them. They're hard to find anymore, and supposedly going out of production. I'm looking for a set now. I've read/heard they are pretty good tire for tracks and do fairly well on the street.. as long as it never rains. I'm in CA and don't usually take my car out on the few days of rain.

One of the things the RA1 is known for is being an excellent rain tire actually, a lot of racers used to keep a full tread set (non shaved) of these tires for track days when it rained.
I had a pair of these tires a few years ago on my daily driven 95 Firebird Formula and I really liked them. They were excellent in the rain, and I even got caught in some light snow when they were near the end of their life and they did ok. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they needed to be warmed up before they offered their best grip. So if I parked my car for a few minutes and the tires cooled off, and then hit the gas hard when pulling out of somewhere, they would spin quite easily. If I did the same maneuver on warm tires and they would not spin at all.
Forum Sponsor Tread Depot has them for $850 shipped!
Mario
That's a super price, but somethings seems a little out of whack here.
First, I didn't think TOYO was even making RA1s in those sizes and Tread Depot has the 305s listed at $15 less than the 275s???? I'd make a phone call before ordering.
I would love to see some pics once you get them on the car. I am in need of new tires to replace my PS2s and have decided to either get the RA1s or another set of PS2s. I would also like to know what you think of how they fit on the stock Z06 rims. Do they change the stance of the car?
Profile looks almost the same! They look better than the GY for sure. I had these on all summer and they still have a lot of tread. Search my name for pics!

Only a heads up for cool (cold) climate parties!
From Toyo - (per my inquiry about T1R's)
"The Proxes T1R does not come under consumer advisory # TSD-07-001. Only those products listed - R888, RA1, R1R and OPMT-R might be effected by sub-freezing weather. These products are DOT Street Legal Competition tires that have a special rubber compound that might be affected by sub-freezing temperatures. The Proxes T1R does not have this rubber compound would be an excellent chose for your Corvette.
I have them on my Z and love them. They are not as sticky as my Nitto555's but still have great grip. I only have about 2500 miles on them but they show no wear. Nice quite tire too
