Default sun visor repair

my driver side sun visor is is flopping about and driving me nuts.
It is still good but the corner that bends is torn inside the fabric. Comes down in front of my field of vision.

Anyone tried to fix this and if so what did you do? I

I don't feel like replacing the visor.

I was thinking of making a slit in the top side of the fabric and then taping it up and gluing it back together.

I dont want ti to looked hacked.
Thoughts?

Well, you could take it to an upholstery shop and have it fixed right..... There's not much to it. My wife sewed mine after I took it apart to fit it with a Homelink. It could easily be fixed that way.

i was not sure how to take them out either. I did not want to ruin the mirror as it is just little plastic things holding it in. My passenger side already came apart from use and I had to glue that back in.
