I don't know about it being worth $100 for the GSCreations one, but the c6 **** is a pretty sweet upgrade over the blocky C5 **** IMO. I just got mine installed today, I've been using the stock C5 **** on my B&M Sport Shifter since I got it last year (works w/ both C5 and 05-07 C6 *****). Obviously I don't have a ton of miles on it yet but it was an immediate improvement IMO. Much easier to palm the **** for the 2-3 shift, etc. Big improvement in ergonomics, looks better too.
I paid about $85 for mine from eBay, and coupled with the MGW shifter, I've never looked back. It's SWEET!
Just ordered the same setup, should be here this week. I am hoping its as nice as the short throw I had in my 300zx twinturbo, but it will be hard to beat as it had the best shifting drivetrain of any car that I have ever driven.

I put the GS Creations C6 **** on my B@M shifter.
It was a HUGE-HUGE-HUGE improvement for me.
The stock C5 square shifter not designed for ergonomics at all. Hell my dad's 88 vert had the same shift ****...
I really like the feel of my shifter now.
Sure, here's a closeup, but it's with my crappy old stock shift boot right after I installed it. Shaft height of the MGW is about 1.1" shorter than stock, but the C6 **** sits all the way down on the shaft so the total height of the shifter is alot shorter than a stock shaft with stock ****.
Well I got the mgw shifter with c6 shaft and stock c6 **** installed and it is about an inch or so short in height and alot shorter in the shifts and very tight as of now.
