Grab some sand paper and have fun. 
Start with 320 to get the clearcoat off, then 600, then 1000 to smooth it out. Shoot a couple coats of clear on it, wetsand, polish, all finished.
When you're sanding, work one direction with one grit, then the opposite direction with the next grit.
