I am simply amazed (or maybe I'm not...) by the small minds and stupidity that has been demonstrated in this thread.
When a Corvette brother/sister posts from Europe or Australia, Scandinavia, etc. the member is welcomed with open arms. But a Corvette brother from Mexico posts - he gets grief about speaking English.
At this moment I am ashamed to be a part of this forum.

Its a fact of life in today's United States, that the majority of legal citizens are sensitive to individuals not speaking the language. I personally have never seen a post on a U.S. forum that was written in a language other than English. Not even from members from "Europe or Australia, Scandinavia, etc".

The guy lives in Mexico and is proud of his Vette, what's the problem with that?
gran mirar Vette

No problem with that at all. This is a forum based in the U.S.for all to share thier love for their car, but if the people you're trying to communicate with can't understand what's being said, then whats the point.

I'm guessing there aren't a whole lot of Mexican/Spanish Corvette forums. Let the guy post his Corvette pics if he doesn;t know English- it doesn't hurt you. If he knows English, though, then he is being a bit of a jackass.

A picture is worth a thousand words. I understood what he was communicating.
Wow, really people? I see the Europeans all the time talk in their native tongue. He's a Corvette guy. That's all that counts. The WORLD Wide Web is supposed to be for everyone. There is no rules listed on this forum that you must speak english in order to post pictures and show your car to everyone. I could see if maybe you were posting in the for sale forum or something where it would benefit everyone to know what's going on. Anyway, you see his photos. If you like the car then comment. If not then you can move onto the next thread.
Now while in person here in the states I agree, speak english. If I go to Target I don't know spanish and when I ask the stocking person where the toy cars are I don't want a answer in another language.
Original poster, Nice car and nice group of cars. Enjoy it and welcome to these forums.
