Default Headers/Tune Question

I am getting AR LT Headers w/catted X-pipe in a couple of weeks. I plan on getting a tune also. My question is, when I install the exhaust should I get it tuned right away or would it hurt to drive it a month or so before getting the tune? Car is an '02 Z06 with Blackwing..no other engine mods. Thanks in advance.

Not going to hurt anything, may throw a few codes. Getting it tuned will get the best performance out of everything though.

You can wait, but like was mentioned, the tune will really maximize the power gains.

Thanks guys When I get them on and tuned, I'll post the #s. Just trying to save a little money installing them myself. Then I'll have to make an appointment to get it tuned and this time of year it may be a few weeks for an opening.
