Well made the run successfull. Just under 15 hours, 1012 miles, rain the last two hours. Actually the last hour was speed limits between 30 and 65, the two hours previous to that was rain. Trip was good, car ran flawlessly, now has 72K on the clock. I thought of alot of creative seating ideas and positions, unfortunately I could not get into any of them....LOL. I am 6'3" @ 265 lbs. I forgot to look at the GPS when i finally stopped to see the average MPH, but the last time I looked at it with a couple hours left the trip average was 73 and the MPG hand figured was almost 29, the computer MPG for the trip was 28.3 so the computer was pretty close. That is some pretty good MPG's at that speed and a little north of 400 RWHP. The wifes new Honda CRV only gets 27 with a 4 a banger, unbelievable really when you think about it. Anyway flying back home tomorrow to gather up the family and rest of the vehicles for the final drive back to NC. Thanks to all the well wishing.
Paul, I will be back for a week, if you have time stop by for a minute.
Tony, will be looking for that call.

^ So all in all, not that bad, good gas mileage, glad you made it safe, we've had nothing but rain here the last 2-3 days, with 70% chance tomorrow, and yep, I'll be talking to you tomorrow, have a safe flight back home.
LOL, no had to leave the furry kids at the house. Just not enough car for those guys....LOL For that matter I can't get them both in the backseat of the truck....so they get to ride out in the motorhome.
