Wow! I bought 2 295/30/19 and 2 265/30/19 a year ago and paid $850 shipped. Now I'm getting quotes at almost a grand? WTF is up with this recession? Everyone keeps raising prices. I have half a mind to say **** buying these tires on mere principal. That is a price increase of over 15% in a year? I'm pretty pissed. I also know if the local vendor can sell them at $800 before taxes and shipping at $15 per tire that $850 shipped is still a very viable price. The problem is tire shops feel it necessary to try and **** you out of the most money they feel like you will give them without any concern for MSRP. Sigh what happened to a good old consistant, fair, and honest business in America? Many of our forum "wheel" vendors have quoted me different pricing from other members and frankly it is BS. OK rant over lets try this.
Can a forum vendor meet the above sizes at the 2009 pricing of $850 shipped? Especially since these are 18/19 and my other order was 19/19.
NOT!
I got mine on te bay... :Cleaning out the Garage"
971 delivered
HMMMMMMM I got a quote from him twice and both times it had totally different pricing. His last quote was different than yours at over a Grand with shipping to Wildomar and taxes.
Their price before shipping and taxes is $790.00 which tells me $850 is plenty possible. I'll just keep looking for a vendor who is outside Cali that wants to make a sale. I know profits on certain things are razor thin, but I do not believe rims and tires are one of them.
check out the Hankooks Ventus V12
I just put them on my new wheels
I love them. they hook 10 times better then the BFG i had and nice ride. I got my 265 30 19 and 305 30 19 delivered for less than 800.00 and then sent in the 50.00 rebate.

Who did you buy these from? I might just have to go this route if I cannot find a vendor for the Vredesteins. Do they make one in 265/35/18?

Vredestein had a major price increase at the start of the year and we are begining to see the effects now. $975 shipped is a pretty good deal right now.

His first quote was $761 before shipping and taxes, and this was like a month ago. If he was willing to sell them for this I doubt pretty seriously it cost you guys $214 to ship four tires. Businesses get a nice discount as I used to be able to ship a laptop OVERNIGHT to the other side of the country for $17.
And the guy that paid $971 to his door had to pay almost $100 in sales tax because he was in California and so was the shipper, so $975 isn't competitive with his pricing because he isn't making money on sales tax.
His price to me would have been $820 shipped but I'd have to pay sales tax, now a month later he is quoting more and I doubt pricing changed that drastically in a month.
