Default Help please....

My bulb in my daytime running lights went out. What panels do i need to remove to access them? I dont want to remove anything not needed and start the rattles from it not fitting again snuggly. Any help would be appreciated, pics too!

I just crank the headlight up, remove the headlight shroud (3 screws) and the hood support bolt (13mm) next to it and reach down and remove and replace the bulb.

It can also be done thru the brake duct-just push it out of the way and stick your hand in thru there, then pop it back into position when you're done.

I do it thru the headlight opening because I've got duct screens & don't want to mess with taking them out...

As long as you're replacing one bulb, why not replace both with LED's. The OEM bulbs get really hot and tend to actually melt the housing directly above them.

Do we have a vendor here with LED DRLs? I asked JW Motoring (I think it was them) and they said they were still working on it.

I replaced mine twice now. If you don't have sasquatch hands, just go through the brake duct. Put ur hand in the duct, push it back and down. then u can squeeze ur hand into the hold on the bumper and reach the bulbs.

We've had DRL LEDs for a while now.

We have amber, white, and the popular switchbacks. All ready to ship

Amber- http://www.shop.jwmotoring.com/produ...4&categoryId=4

White- http://www.shop.jwmotoring.com/produ...9&categoryId=4

Switchbacks- http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...-in-stock.html

We can even install led strips in your corners

Hmm, you're right (you knew that), I checked and I had asked another vendor about "running lights". Not sure where that came from, I was thinking DRLs... Glad to see these. Are they much dimmer than the incadescents? Sorry for the hijack.

Some say they're just as bright as some say a little less bright.

The main advantage is no heat. Those stock DRLs are known to melt DRL housings.

I have the switchbacks from JW and I like them a lot better than the stock bulbs, But I also have the clear corners I bought from JW, Well worth the money.
