Default TPMS Question

I have a '99 coupe and looks like the keyless entry / TPMS receiver module went bad. I see a lot of guys upgraded to the later 2001 TPMS module. Would the old ('99) wheel sensors work with the newer TPMS module or do the wheel sensor have to be changed to the 2001-2004 as well?

Thanks

All components must match. TPMS receiver, Key fobs and TPMS sensors. If you upgrade to the new receiver (2001 - 2004) you need to change the other components as well.

Before you do any of that, have you checked fuse 27 in the passenger side footwell fuse box?

Thanks for the replies...
yep, did check the fuse as well as took it apart to make sure there's 12volts on the receiver connector. There was, that's why I'm thinking it's a bad receiver.
