As I am finishing the long term detail on my car I decided this was going to be the last piece. After reading up on some DIY's, I went for it. Used 1/4" pinstripe to outline, green auto masking tape and plastic I had laying around, cocooned the rear of the car to the garage good so over spray had nowhere to go but the plastic, and away I went.
Scuffed with fine steel wool, light coats of Krylon Fusion flat black. That stuff layers NICELY.
Better pics to come, this was a quick garage snap, but it came out great. My only complaint is that the pinstriping I used left a little bit of a jagged edge but you've got to get right up on it to tell.
