Fleabay tires
I know the old saying, if its too good to be true it usually is. But I was curious if anyone on here has bought tires on fleabay before and if they were what they said or crappy? I found the ones I need for a lot less than what a tire shop has quoted and tire rack doesnt have my tires anymore. Not sure if they stopped carrying them in my sizes or what. The seller has 100% positive feedback. Thanks.

Maybe saying what type of tires they are selling would help answer your question. And then from there, its really a case by case basis with the seller. I've bought a rim/tire package for my last vette off ebay, but it was an ebay store.

but I do my homework before purchasing. I bought my last two sets of rims from ebay without any issues. If your still on the fence try looking for your tires at discounttire.com. They will match most prices and have free shipping....something to think about.

I've bought and sold tires on ebay. Never had a problem. One set of tires was off a new vette. The other set was new, still had the labels on them. If there are photos, check to see if you can read the date stamp on them. You don't want to buy a set of 5 year old tires even if they have never been used.

If you buy from a seller with a lot of feedback and is 100% you should be fine, I have bought a lot of items on eBay for my Vette and have saved a lot of money doing so. You have to be eBay smart though.

3 of mine are. No problems whatsoever. The vendor was a tire place in Philadelphia. Great place to deal with. I have BFG G force T/A's.

I have purchased used tires 3 times, from ebay, the forum and a place in my area- all three time have ended out bad. spend the money and buy new tires- you will save money in the long run
