I drove it once in the snow cause I didn't want to walk 5 miles to work...
It was not fun, I would have had better traction on my motorcycle. I have GY runflats and it was about 1 inch of snow. Don't get much of it here so I figured it would be ok. No salt here either. I don't think I would take it out if the roads were salted.

I drive mine on dry days in the winter....you always hit the melting snow crap but at some point you can wash it off. Never took it out in the snow, really no need to do that but it has gotten "snowed on" but not a lot.

Goodyear actually does make a mud&snow tire for the C5:

Never used them as we don't get all that much snow here but I do drive mine every day.

I drive all winter,,but leave her sit when there is significant snow cover on the road. Slush spots or incidental snow patches,,,no problem. I do not subscribe the the garage queen concept. been averaging 10k or so a year since I bought it,,,my old shark and motorcycle think I've died or something!!!

Nope... that's what the other two vehicles in the garage are for... one says 4wd while the other is AWD. The vette obviously is neither and only RWD so it is not the appropriate choice for winter driving! Really a no brainer.

I drive mine all year round, even in the snow. It does fine in anything under 4 inches of snow with the Goodyear F1 all seasons I've got on the car. Above that amount I just stay home. But why are we talking about snow now??
